Community Impact
In 2022, we provided quality, early childhood care for 60 children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old at the Child Center. Our community resource advocates and housing navigators connected 1,132 community members struggling with housing and economic insecurity with our partner agencies to provide wraparound services. Our youth housing navigators helped more than fifty-eight young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 navigate the challenges of housing instability. One hundred and sixty people completed our 3-day racial justice workshop. Restorative Practices served over 800 students in the School District of La Crosse. YWCA's annual back-to-school event, GET Fresh, provided 61 students in the La Crosse area with new hair cuts and hairstyles, a gift card for school clothes, and a backpack full of school supplies.
